Commissions- How it works:

All custom pencil portraits are drawn from reference using a photograph of your choice. I use graphite pencils normally on A4 white paper but can be drawn any size you require. All drawings are unique and will not always be complete copies of your photograph (unless you would like them to be), I like to play around with different compositions, contrasts and backgrounds.

In order to create a drawing for you I would need to be emailed a clear, in focus photo of your chosen subject in as high a resolution as possible. I would require a non refundable deposit of half the amount and upon viewing the finished picture, the remaining half.  The larger the drawing, the higher the price. Please email me before to discuss if you require a larger drawing.

As I am a busy mother of 2, it will take me around 6-8 weeks to finish your drawing but I will keep you up to date with progress as much as possible and produce photos of any work in progress.

Item will be sprayed with fixative and sent securely. Drawings are mounted and protected in a plastic sleeve, then sent in a cardboard envelope. This will ensure your drawing arrives smudge free and secure. I post using royal mail special delivery which provides a tracking number. Postage prices include the price of this service plus the cost of ensuring your drawing arrives safely.
